Situated in a landscape of traditional winter holiday cabins on the edge of Jotunheimen National Park in Tyin, Norway. Set into the slope overlooking the lake, the cabin’s sloping grass roof is asymmetrical, reaching down almost to the ground on the lower side of the hill. Insulated with shredded denim, with an independent boiler system for the under-floor heating, the project also uses technically advanced insulated glazing.
