A 'house on the top of a house'. By sliding one volume ahead, this creates a covered outside space on the front of the house and a large outside space on the 2nd floor to the rear of the house. Internally, the plan has a cube in the midddle with all the houses main kitchen and bath functions with very few walls on the 2nd floor.
