Two halves of this vacation home open up towards each other to form an outdoor room. The third element, a long roof, is delicately poised to ”hover” above the two pavillions to shelter the users from the not so uncommon rain on the West coast of Norway. The stucture is disarmingly simple and restrained, and theirein lies its appeal. It incorporates the surrounding nature into the design. Situataed on the edge of a pristince pine forest, on top of a rocky slope, the house looks out over a beautiful fjord.
